A factory-assembled cubicle housing the neutral grounding resistor together with the neutral connection leads, current transformer and, where required, a neutral disconnector for generator neutral earthing. It limits stator earth-fault current to protect the generator winding and provides a defined reference for neutral displacement and earth-fault protection. Supplied as a self-contained enclosure adjacent to the generator or step-up transformer in power plants and captive generation.
