Factory-assembled and type-tested prefabricated substation housing an MV ring-main unit or compact switchgear, a distribution transformer, and an LV distribution board within a walk-in or non-walk-in metal-sheet enclosure. Supplied fully wired and internal-arc classified to IEC 62271-202, it reduces on-site installation and commissioning time. Typical use is public MV/LV distribution, industrial plants, and connection of small generation to the network.
